Troy Haugen currently serves as Director of Career & College Readiness at Lakes Country Service Cooperative in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.  In this role, Troy administers the Carl Perkins grant for 26 school districts in west-central Minnesota , serves as the founder and unit leader of Minnesota’s first alternative teacher preparation provider/programs in Minnesota, coordinates the rural cohort of the Minnesota Education Policy Fellowship and founded the MACTA CTE Policy & Leadership Fellowship. 


Troy is a licensed teacher, school principal and superintendent and has been in education for 25 years.  He has a special interest in teacher licensure, alternative pathways to licensure, education policy, rural education, and educational equity.
